Visitors taking pictures of a special ikebana display dedicated to the late Mr and Mrs Lee Kuan Yew.

Consisting of two orchid species, it was on show at the Ikebana International Singapore Chapter 135's annual exhibition, which opened at Paragon shopping mall yesterday. This year's event, which runs until April 12, is dedicated to Mr Lee. Ikebana International is a non-profit cultural organisation dedicated to the Japanese art of flower arrangement.

The free exhibition features displays from 38 Chapter members, famous floral designers and Ikebana artists from Singapore. It is open from 10am to 9pm.
