Parents will soon get more help with infant care, such as how to sterilise milk bottles and change diapers, from an online portal launched by People's Association (PA).

The online portal aims to be a one-stop resource portal that will share best practices on infant care, said PA chief executive director Ang Hak Seng. It will include information such as the nearest babysitting services and pediatricians available to parents.

Apart from online resources, PA will also conduct workshops to further equip parents with infant care knowledge and operate a helpline to respond to their queries, added Mr Ang, at the launch of the initiative at Pasir Ris Elias Community Club on Sunday.

PA has partnered Thomson Medical and KK Women's and Children's Hospital for the initiative, but is looking to work with more local clinics.

Currently, Pasir Ris residents can access the online portal, but more information will be added to the website soon. PA hopes to introduce the portal to all constituencies by the end of next year.
