Psychiatrist did not verify identity of caller who claimed he was patient's husband

The director of the Neuroscience Clinic at the National University Hospital (NUH) has been fined $50,000 for breaching medical confidentiality.

Dr Soo Shuenn Chiang, a psychiatrist, had given a female patient's brother confidential medical information in 2015.
