SINGAPORE - Registration for National Service will be conducted from Tuesday, August 19 to September 9, both dates inclusive.

Male Singapore citizens and permanent residents born on and between June 1 and August 31 in 1997 will be required to register.

Registration can be done online at www.ns.sg or in person at the Central Manpower Base (CMPB) podium at Depot Road.

Those registering in person have to bring along their NRIC or birth certificate, education certificates, citizen certificates if any, and other documents mentioned in the Registration Notice.

Registrants who wish to complete their studies in Singapore may apply for postponement of enlistment. Successful applicants will be notified.

Should they not meet the postponement criteria, or are not successful in their application, registrants have to book a date for their medical screening between December 1 this year to January 19. They then have to report at CMPB on the appointed date between 8am and 1.30pm for the screening.

Registrants can direct their queries to NS eServices at the toll-free telephone number 1800-3676767 or e-mail them at contact@ns.sg
