Not all shoppers dazzled by Christmas light-up in Orchard
Some say this year's lights less bright than before, but others welcome focus on pedestrian experience

The festive lights along Orchard Road last Tuesday. The number of lights this year is the same as last year's - but they have been stretched over a larger area as new roads have been added to the Christmas light-up. This year's lights were switched on on Nov 16 and will go on till Jan 1.

A debate has lit up over the festive lights in Orchard Road, with some shoppers and merry-makers saying they seem to be less bright than before, but others are quite happy with them.
