Nominations for the President's Award for the Environment 2013 are now open.

Members of the public are invited to nominate individuals or organisations that have made significant contributions towards Singapore's environmental and water sustainability.

The award, which is the highest accolade in its field, also aims to inspire similar initiatives to address the various environmental issues that Singapore faces.

The deadline for submissions is March 15. Nominated individuals must be Singaporean citizens or permanent residents, while nominated companies must be registered in Singapore. Nomination forms can be downloaded on the official website at www.mewr.gov.sg/presidentsaward.
