About 9,000 participants ran a 5km loop around Palawan Green in Sentosa as glow-in-the-dark powder bathed them in iridescent, neon particles. The Colour Run, in its fifth edition here, took on a different tinge this year by taking place at night - the first location in South-east Asia to do so. Instead of the bright, primary-coloured zones of years past, runners ran under neon and ultraviolet lights, bubbles and foam. The race has no winners or official times, but touts itself as the "happiest 5K on the planet". After the run, participants celebrated at a dance party headlined by local DJs Jason Kai and Reiko. The next leg of the Colour Run will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Oct 1.
