SINGAPORE • Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen will be visiting Washington, DC from today to Wednesday to meet United States officials and members of US Congress, including Defence Secretary James Mattis.

A statement released by the Defence Ministry yesterday said Dr Ng will meet the US officials to exchange views on geopolitical developments and reaffirm the strong and longstanding bilateral relationship between the two countries.

While there, Dr Ng will also meet strategic thinkers and academics, the statement said.
