"We hope that he will always be strong and healthy, and bring us more surprises in life," said Mrs Yeo.

"My expected delivery date was Jan 6, but I guess the little one decided to arrive early for the year," said Ms Ong.

PARENTS: Engineer Wong Joe Jiun, 38, and card dealer Yang Guang, 31.

"I am very happy that my son is born this year and am also thankful that both mother and child are healthy," said Mr Wong.
