The Marina Coastal Expressway will open to traffic from 9am on Sunday, after almost five years of construction.

The 5km 10-lane underground road, with nearly half a kilometre under the sea, joins the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway, East Coast Parkway and Ayer Rajah Expressway.

Senior Minister of State for Transport Josephine Teo officiated at an opening ceremony on Saturday, accompanied by Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong.
