A new Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) centre has been set up to reach out to more students, workers and families in Ang Mo Kio HDB housing estate.

From Jan 20, CDAC@ Ang Mo Kio will open its door to residents in Ang Mo Kio and the neighbouring estates to offer its programmes and services.

Singaporeans and PRs, including students, workers, families and seniors, could sign up as members to use its facilities and take part in courses conducted for them. Membership is free.

Saturday and Sunday : 10am to 5pm

Programmes and services the centre will offer the coming months, include:

-For students - enrichment courses for Primary & Secondary levels for various subjects, June school holiday programmes

-For workers - Job placements, Basic Computer, English Conversational Courses

-For families - Parenting workshops

The Centre would answer general enquiries, provide referrals and accept application forms for all CDAC programmes such as tuition programme, workers' upgrading courses, hardship and workfare programmes.
