SINGAPORE - Members of the public can now have their artwork featured on EZ-Link cards, as part of an art competition to commemorate Singapore's Golden Jubilee. The nationwide competition, My Journey, My Home, gives people an opportunity to illustrate what Singapore's 50th birthday means to them. Four winning entries will be featured on an SG50 EZ-Link card series.

Part of the sales proceeds from the cards will be donated to the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS).

The contest was launched by EZ-Link, DAS and the National Arts Council on Monday. It is the first of a series of activities by EZ-Link to celebrate the nation's 50th birthday.

Said EZ-Link chief executive officer Nicholas Lee: "To celebrate Singapore's 50th birthday, EZ-Link is giving the people of Singapore the EZ-Link card as a mini canvas to display their feelings about Singapore, and create a memorable set of EZ-link cards that they can cherish."

More information on the competition can be found at the EZ-Link website on www.ezlink.com.sg/happenings/sg50. The closing date for the entries is March 31.
