National Service Registration starts from April 30

National Service Registration for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents will start from April 30 and end on May 21.

Men born between Dec 6, 1995 and March 12, 1996 may register online at or personally at the Central Manpower Base (CMPB) Podium at 3 Depot Road. They will have to bring along the relevant documents as specified in the Registration Notice, such as their birth and educational certificates.

Those who need to apply for postponement of enlistment to complete their studies in Singapore should also do online or personally. If the application is successful, the registrant will receive a further notice from the proper authority about when he is to report for enlistment.

Unsuccessful applicants will need to arrange and go for a medical screening between June 14 and Aug 2 at CMPB. For more information, registrants should call the NS eServices toll-free number at 1800-367-6767 or e-mail them at
