With a red Mercedes convertible and a vending machine flashing the words "Mystery Girls" parked outside its neon-lit doors, Mystery Bar in Circular Road is hard to miss.

For $50, the machine dispenses a "mystery box" containing the name of one of the bar's female employees, who will perform a pole dance at its centre stage, according to a patron who visited the bar earlier this month.
