Mud on ECP causes temporary closure of two lanes after Bedok exit

SINGAPORE- Two lanes on East Coast Parkway (ECP) towards Changi Airport were closed on Thursday afternoon after mud from a truck spilled on the road.

By about 5.20pm, the lanes were open to traffic.

The mud, which blocked the road just after the Bedok exit, is believed to be from a truck which had to brake suddenly.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the incident at about 2.50pm, and sent a fire engine to wash away the mud.
