Moulana Mohamed Ali Mosque reopens at Raffles Place

SINGAPORE - The 62-year-old Moulana Mohamed Ali Mosque reopened on Friday with a more spacious prayer hall, air-conditioning and an ablution area.

Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Yaacob Ibrahim praised its management for the work. The mosque moved to UOB Plaza 1 in 1982, and had not been renovated for 21 years. It closed last October for the $1.3 million upgrade.
