SINGAPORE - A motorcyclist died after an accident with a lorry on the BKE towards PIE on the morning of July 25.
In a video posted on the Singapore Roads Accident.com’s Facebook page at around 9am, a blue police tent is seen erected next to a lorry carrying pre-fabricated construction material.
Blood and debris can be seen near the tent.
Three uniformed officers and a man wearing a white safety helmet are seen speaking to each other.
Three police cars, an Expressway Monitoring and Advisory System recovery vehicle, a Land Transport Authority motorcycle and a Singapore Civil Defence Force ambulance can also be seen in the video.
SCDF and the police said they were alerted to the accident along the BKE towards PIE before the SLE exit at about 6.50am.
The 23-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic and his 23-year-old male pillion rider, who was unconscious, was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, the authorities said.
A male lorry driver, 39, is assisting the police with investigations.
