Outstanding Malay/Muslim individuals to be recognised

A successful Malay/Muslim individual will be named the Berita Harian Achiever of the Year for his or her accomplishments in his or her chosen field.
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam will present the award to the winner at a gala dinner today.

New internet initiatives in Thailand

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, a non-profit corporation created in 1998 that oversees domain names on the web, including the coordination of unique identifiers, will today announce new initiatives in Thailand. This will involve an expansion of domain names, as well as the possibility of using Thai characters in a domain name. - TAN HUI YEE
