Commuters travelling to and from Pasir Ris MRT station on Wednesday morning may have experienced an increased travelling time by about eight minutes.

Between 8.30am and 10am, works were being carried at one of the tracks to rectify a signalling fault. Only one track was used for trains arriving at and departing from the station.

The track with the fault resumed activity at around 10am.
