1 WAITING TO SEE MR LEE
People queueing patiently at the Padang on the morning of March 26 for their turn to enter Parliament House to pay their last respects to Mr Lee Kuan Yew, who died on March 23. The tents providing shelter from the elements were put up by Singapore Armed Forces personnel. There was a special lane for the elderly, pregnant women, school children, families with young children, and people with special needs.
2 SEE YOU LATER, SON
Mr Guo Yang spending a quiet moment with his son Jeremy on Aug 1 just before they went into the operating theatre for a liver transplant. Jeremy, who was born with a life-threatening condition called biliary atresia, received part of his father's liver. Both are doing well.
3 JUBILEE CHINGAY
Ms Tiara Adinda Sari, 22, dressed as "a tree of creativity" for her performance at Chingay 2015. She was part of Jember Fashion Carnaval, a 470-member contingent from Indonesia. The troupe is one of 19 groups from 15 countries and regions that took part in the SG50 edition of Singapore's annual street procession in February.
