Vehicle-related transactions involving the Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be available online, bringing greater convenience to motorists and potentially reducing the likelihood of scams being perpetrated.

For instance, car buyers will be able to complete sales transactions and vehicle transfers using SingPass accounts. This ensures that the vehicles they have purchased are truly transferred to them.

Car dealers also welcomed the move, as they will no longer have to dispatch staff to wait in line for counter service at LTA.
