More bus, train services extended on eve of Deepavali

SINGAPORE – Commuters travelling late on Oct 19 – the eve of Deepavali – will be able to catch trains on the North East Line (NEL), Downtown Line (DTL) and Sengkang-Punggol LRT, which will run till later than usual.
Seventeen bus services will also be extended that night, said operator SBS Transit in a statement on Oct 7.
The last NEL trains will depart HarbourFront station at 12.30am and Punggol Coast station at midnight on Oct 20, while the last DTL trains will depart Bukit Panjang station at 12.03am and Expo station at 12.04am on Oct 20.
The last Sengkang LRT train will depart at 1.06am and the last Punggol LRT train will depart at 1.09am.
In addition to the extended train services, 17 SBS bus services will run till later at their respective bus interchanges.
They are: 60A, 63M, 114A, 222, 225G, 228, 229, 232, 238, 291, 292, 293, 315, 325, 410W, 804 and 812.
The last buses for services 60A and 63M will leave Eunos Interchange at 12.55am. At the same time, services 232 and 238 will depart from Toa Payoh Interchange.
Services 222, 225G, 228 and 229 will leave Bedok Interchange at 1am.
Service 410W will depart from Bishan Interchange and service 315 will leave Serangoon Interchange, both at 1.05am.
Services 291, 292 and 293 will depart from Tampines Interchange at 1.10am, which is also when service 114A will leave Buangkok Interchange and when service 325 will leave Hougang Central Interchange.
Services 804 and 812 will leave Yishun Interchange at 1.35am.
SMRT announced that it will be extending bus and train services
Eighteen SMRT bus services will also run till later.
