MOE awards local school talents in its annual digital media awards

A group of four 12-year-old students from Park View Primary School contacted officers at the Land Transport Authority and even borrowed a life-size dummy train from the Authority to shoot their video.

Their one-minute video which took three months to put together encourages gracious behaviour on trains.

This group of students were among the 16 award winners at the Ministry of Education's (MOE) Schools Digital Media Awards presentation ceremony held on Thursday.

Organised by MOE and Ngee Ann Polytechnic's School of Film and Media Studies, the annual competition aims to provide a platform for students to creatively tell their stories through visual media. This year, the competition attracted 537 entries and a total of 78 awards were given out to more than 300 students.
