MFA appeals for family of Singaporean who died in Philippines to get in touch

SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is asking for the family of a 60-year-old Singaporean who died in the Philippines to come forward.

Mr Tan Cheng Kim Elbert died on Aug 15, and his body is currently at the mortuary in Philippines, the MFA said on Friday (Aug 19). He will be cremated or buried by Aug 22.

The MFA said it has tried to contact Mr Tan's next-of-kin but to no avail.
