Major road and other infrastructure works near Changi Airport have been announced, kick-starting a significant project to cement Singapore's status as a key aviation hub and the transformation of the larger Changi region.
The mega initiative, which includes building, widening and reconfiguring roads, will complement the MRT's Cross Island Line which will run between Changi and Tuas, and serve the future Terminal 5, which is slated to open around 2030.
