The two casinos have been dealt penalties amounting to $230,000 by the Casino Regulatory Authority for allowing a total of 27 people to enter or be on their premises when they had no business being there.

Marina Bay Sands (MBS) was responsible for letting in six people who are banned from the casinos and one minor between Nov 1 2011 to April 30 2012. Six people also entered MBS casino with out valid entry levies and one remained in the casino for more than 24 hours, the maximum time allowed on a daily entry levy. It has to pay a $130,000 penalty.

In that same period, three people banned from entering the casino and two minors managed to get into the casino at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).

Another four people were found at RWS without valid entry levies and four others were found to have stayed beyond the 24 hours validity of their day entry levies. RWS has to cough up $100,000 for these breaches.
