It was completed on Sunday to mark International Fruit Day. The installation for the Singapore Book of Records took about four hours to set up, and was made up of over 43,000 fruits, taking up an entire lane of Shenton Way. The fruits were distributed to tenants of OUE Downtown and community centres after the event.
