Masagos leads delegation to Brunei for Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations

SINGAPORE - Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Masagos Zulkifli is visiting Brunei on Sunday for the country's Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

Mr Masagos, who is also the Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs, will be accompanied by his wife Madam Jumelah Ja'afar, Minister of State for National Development and Defence Dr Maliki Osman, Minister of State for National Development Desmond Lee and their spouses.

In Brunei, the Singapore delegation will visit Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and his wife Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha to convey the Hari Raya wishes of Singapore leaders personally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said in a statement on Saturday.

It is the fourth time Mr Masagos is leading a Singapore delegation to join in the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations at Brunei, the MFA noted. "The visit reflects the warm and close friendship between the two countries."

The delegation returns on Wednesday.
