70% of retrenched workers helped by group last year found new jobs within six months

Seven in 10 retrenched workers, who were helped by a task force last year, landed new jobs in six months.

Part of the reason is that the task force, formed by the Government in March 2016 to help Singaporeans get back to work, was able to get more timely and complete information to help the retrenched workers find new jobs.
