Man charged with using someone else's credit card to buy fast food

A man, who is believed to have used another person's credit card to pay for a fast food chain's home delivery service on four occasions, was charged with cheating in a district court Tuesday.

Tan Kok Sin, 32, allegedly made the home delivery orders to an address in Bukit Panjang. The orders from McDonald's, costing between $21 and 28, were placed between January and February 2011.

Tan, who is unemployed, was also charged with a further four counts of using another credit card that belonged to someone else to cheat Sheng Siong supermarket and electronics store Harvey Norman .

Bail was set at $30,000. As Tan was unable to raise that amount, he will remain in remand.
