Police have arrested a 30-year-old man for suspected cheating at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) casino. He was arrested on Saturday by officers from the Criminal Investigation Department. They also seized several items, which are believed to have been used by the suspect to facilitate his crime.
If found guilty, he may be fined up to $150,000 or jailed for up to seven years, or both.
Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, 13 people were arrested for their suspected involvement in issuing illegal loans to players in the MBS casino.
