SINGAPORE - M1 has fixed the problem that was causing customers to experience intermittent Internet access on its fibre broadband network on Wednesday night.

The telco had initially put up a Facebook post at around 8pm, apologising for the issue and said it was working to rectify it.

The post, which has attracted nearly 150 comments, had disgruntled users claiming that access was non-existent. Others called for M1 to compensate them.

Many users left comments claiming that access was non-existent across the island, while others called for M1 to compensate them.

A Lee Kok Hsien who lives in Sengkang said he had no Internet access since 7pm this evening.

M1 posted a subsequent update at around 9.40pm, claiming that the issue had been solved.
