Lower admission fees to mark Jurong Bird Park's 45th anniversary

SINGAPORE - Singapore's first wildlife attraction, Jurong Bird Park, turns 45 next month and the park is inviting everyone to flock over to join in the festivities.

Singapore residents who visit the park on Jan 3 (Sunday) will enjoy 45 per cent off admission.

Standard admisison rates range from $12 (for those 60 years and above) to $28 (adults).

The first 45 guests will also walk away with a goodie bag containing exclusive merchandise worth $80.

On the same day, guests will get to enjoy a birthday edition of the popular High Flyers Show at 11am and 3pm - a high altitude free flying performance, featuring a line-up of its bird stars and new talents.

Spectators can also look forward to some retired pioneer show birds as they make special appearances.

The birthday celebration on Jan 3 will kick off a string of celebratory events for Jurong Bird Park and more details will be announced at a later date.
