Cyber defence was likened to the fight against terrorism yesterday, as Parliament sat for the first time since the SingHealth data breach was revealed.

The analogy, made by Minister-in-charge of Cyber Security S. Iswaran, was an uncannily accurate one - and eerily so, perhaps, given the gravity of the threat that terrorism poses to modern societies.
