Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong will be visiting the Kingdom of Bhutan from Monday to Wednesday, at the invitation of His Excellency Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay, Bhutan's prime minister.
His visit aims to strengthen Singapore's bilateral relations with Bhutan, and explore further cooperation in a range of areas. These include the arts, heritage, sports, youth and community, and developing information and communications technology.
During his visit, Mr Wong will call on the Prime Minister, as well as Minister for Home and Cultural Affairs Damchoe Dorji.
He will be joined by officials from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
