Visitors continued to stream in at the wake of the two victims of last week's Kovan murders.

Among them were Workers' Party Members of Parliament Sylvia Lim (Aljunied GRC) and Lee Li Lian (Punggol East SMC). The scene of the crime, Hillside Drive, is part of Aljunied GRC.

The widows of the victims, Mr Tan Boon Sin, 67, and his son Tan Chee Heong, 42, looked more calm and composed on Monday. On Sunday, the older Mr Tan's widow, Madam Ong Ah Tang, let out a scream of anguish when she arrived at Teochew Funeral Parlour, along Ubi Road 4.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday.

The suspect, Iskandar Rahmat, a senior staff sergeant with the Singapore Police Force, was charged in court on Monday morning. The 34-year-old has been suspended from duty and faces the death penalty if found guilty.
