Kovan double murder: Suspect arrives in court to face charges

Iskandar Rahmat, a senior staff sergeant with the Singapore Police Force, has arrived in court on Monday morning to face charges of killing car workshop owner Tan Boon Sin, 66, and his son, Mr Tan Chee Heong, 42.

The bodies of the father and son were found 1 km apart in Kovan estate - the older man was discovered dead in a Hillside Drive terrace house, while his son's body was found near Kovan MRT station.

Iskandar, 34, faces the death penalty if he is found guilty. He has been suspended from duty.
