From Sept 1, workers in the retail sector will come under the Progressive Wage Model (PWM), which sets out the minimum pay and training requirements for workers at different levels of skill.
This is after recommendations by the Tripartite Cluster for Retail Industry (TCR) were accepted by the Government on Monday.
