JEM retailers want compensation for delay opening of Jurong's newest mall

JEM, the newest mall in Jurong East, is set to open for business tomorrow, four days after its original opening date was scuppered by fire permit issues.

But some tenants of the 241-store mall now want compensation for the delay - food had to be thrown away and staff had to be paid.
