Jurong East's Jem mall remained shuttered for a second day, following its closure after a section of the mall's ceiling on the first floor collapsed on Wednesday.
The accident happened just after 10pm, when a 50m by 4m portion of false ceiling collapsed due to a burst water pipe. Three people suffered minor injuries including bruises.
At 10.30am on Friday, a few tenants were seen waiting to enter the mall to move their items to other outlets.
Some stores, including TopShop, have draped plastic covers over their store items to prevent any damage to their goods. The mall is still barricaded and closed to the public.
