The Chief of Staff of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), General Haruhiko Kataoka, called on Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen Monday afternoon at the Defence Ministry.

Gen Kataoka, who is in Singapore for his introductory visit from Jan 27 to 29, also called on Chief of Defence Force Lieutenant-General Neo Kian Hong and Chief of Air Force Major-General Ng Chee Meng.

As part of his programme, Gen Kataoka visited the Paya Lebar Air Base on Monday morning.
