Insurers keep up with new travel habits

What do a couple going on an overseas wedding photoshoot and an adrenaline junkie planning to hit Europe's ski slopes have in common?

Not much. But both can travel with peace of mind, knowing that almost every aspect of their exotic vacations would be covered by insurance.

Insurance firms in Singapore are coming up with novel plans to cater to changing travel habits. Some firms have even introduced plans for maids who travel with their employers on holidays.

Plans for personal mobility device riders are also among the new services consumers can buy.
