Industry leaders to help guide new lifestyle concept ideas with tourism potential

Successful applicants of the recently launched $5 million tourism Kickstart Fund will benefit from mentorship guidance and support from industry leaders.

The Kickstart Fund is an incentive scheme aimed at supporting innovative lifestyle events and concepts with tourism potential, such as pop-up entertainment, dining, retail or arts events.

Chief executive and executive director of St James Holdings, Mr Dennis Foo; executive director of Singapore GP and managing director of Live Nation Lushington, Mr Michael Roche; and managing director of Zouk Ms Esther Soh, are among six mentors who have been selected based on their experience in their field.

Applications for the fund are open till June 28. Successful applicants will receive funding support of up to 50 per cent of qualifying costs, capped at a maximum of $75,000 per project. The next call for applications will start in September.
