AI artist Niceaunties has been making noise in the international art scene with her surreal visions of a world populated by elderly women. While her work has gained fans, it has also brought threats from those who are against using AI in art.

SINGAPORE – Without any fanfare at home, a Singaporean has been creating a din in the international art world with her weird, wild and wonderful images and videos created with artificial intelligence (AI).
Simultaneously surrealistic, bizarre and whimsical, her works – inspired by her 11 aunties, mother and grandmother – are set in an alternate reality where elderly women wear vegetable dentures, soak their aches away in giant bowls of ramen, and worship at the altar of a Supreme Perm Goddess, among other wacky things.
