Owning their first Housing Board home became easier for Singaporeans after several key policy changes were made to improve affordability for first-time home buyers.

The changes announced in September include raising the income ceiling for eligible buyers and introducing a new Enhanced Central Provident Fund Housing Grant (EHG).
