Minister for Education Heng Swee Keat will attend a biennial meeting for education ministers from Asia and Europe in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the next three days.

The 4th Asia-Europe Meeting of Ministers for Education will examine the role of education and training in spurring economic and social development.

It also seeks to deepen cooperation between the two regions on education.

Mr Heng, accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Education, will meet his counterparts at the sidelines of the meeting.
