More than 250 youth volunteers put their hearts into spreading peace across Singapore yesterday, distributing 7,000 roses to members of the public across the island. Organised by the Singapore Management University's Muslim Society, the Roses of Peace initiative - which began in 2012 - brought together young people of different religions to promote love and harmony. Volunteers gave out the flowers at 17 locations throughout the afternoon. Each bloom came with a greeting card containing messages of peace.
