Science has come up with a mutant T-cell clone with superpowers to fight cancer

To me, the second episode of the movie blockbuster Aliens was the best of the series. The gory scenes of alien creatures growing in the bodies of their human hosts and finally bursting out of the abdomen to further impregnate other hapless humans are unforgettable.

My other favourite movie series is X-Men, where upright mutant humans battle their evil counterparts to save the world.
