Don't worry, your favourite instant noodles and potato chips aren't going anywhere. But they will probably become a little bit healthier come 2021, when the Ministry of Health's (MOH's) move to ban partially hydrogenated oils (PHOs) kicks in.

The ban is aimed at lowering the amount of unhealthy trans fats - short for trans-unsaturated fatty acids - in the Singaporean diet.
