SINGAPORE - A sugar tax alone is not going to do much to help Singapore's fight against diabetes, said a top diabetes expert from Australia.
Singapore has been toying with the idea of imposing a sugar tax on packaged drinks as part of its war against diabetes, since they account for about a third of sugar consumption by people here.
